Kooth Digital Mental Health

Description

Service Description

Kooth provides free, safe and anonymous mental health support to young people living in Tower Hamlets between the ages of 10 and 25.

Children and young people within this age range can sign-up themselves, without needing a referral and without meeting any thresholds or criteria. Once signed up, they can access free, text-based counselling with trained counsellors and emotional wellbeing practitioners, taking place on the Kooth website.

They can also access peer-to-peer support though moderated forums and articles surrounding an array of different topics, ranging from mental health to hobbies and interests.

Finally, they can utilise self-help tools such as our online journal, goal setting tool and mini activities hub.
