The Virtual School tracks the progress of LAC in Schools across the borough and in other parts of the country. We advise teachers in these schools, the carers and social workers involved with our Looked After children, to secure the best possible educational outcomes for them and their future, through Personal Education Plans.

We provide funding and advice to supplement the education and wellbeing of Looked After Children. in many instances, we provide extra tuition and resources to improve attainment and holiday activities and residential weeks to engage our children in new experiences.

We work with Social Care to provide active training and support for Foster Carers, Teachers and Social Workers. Dates are always available on the website, http://virtualschool.towerhamlets.gov.uk/Home.aspx
