Service Description

The Local Supported Employment (LSE) initiative is funded by the Department for Work and Pensions. The LSE is a team of Supported Employment Officers who can support people with learning disabilities and/or autistic spectrum into training, volunteering or job opportunities.

Adults aged 18 or over with a learning disability and/or an autistic spectrum condition living in Tower Hamlets can access this service.

Monday, Thursday and Friday appointments are online/virtual only. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are open to in person appointments.

All LSE officers hold a level 3 in Supported Employment Practitioners and have done Trauma Informed Approaches Training.

The service is currently doing a Fidelity Assessment with the British Association of Supported Employment.
