Step Forward provides support to young people who are facing disadvantage and enable them to thrive, develop, grow and reach their full potential in life.
How do we do it?
We provide a safe and welcoming space for young people to talk and get the support they need, when they need it.
Our services are free, confidential, accessible to all and continually evolving to ensure they are always relevant and responsive.
We put together personalised packages of support tailored for each individual young person that will help them to feel better equipped and motivated to deal with difficulties.
We are dedicated to recruiting, retaining and developing exceptional staff, volunteers, and trustees.
Step Forward is closing their offices from Wednesday 18th March until further notice in response to Public Health England guidelines to prevent the spread of coronavirus and support the wellbeing of our staff and young people.
Some remote working will be possible and the staff team will monitor emails and get back to you as soon as they are able to.
If you require support while Step Forward is closed you can contact:

If you require medical advice you can call 111 NHS advice service. This is a non emergency advice line run by NHS members of staff. Alternatively in a mental health emergency situation, where you feel you are unable to keep yourself safe, options for face-to-face quick help are by getting an emergency GP appointment or attending at an A&E department.
You can also call the 24hr Tower Hamlets Mental Health Crisis Line on 020 7771 5807.
