Additional Information

The Matchbox Nursery opened in September 2003. We are based at the bottom of a residential block on the edge of a large housing estate. We offer full day care for children aged three months to five years. We are registered for 68 children.

The vast majority of children attending the nursery are from local families who are using childcare for the first time. Our families are from different cultures and ethnic backgrounds. We provide a stimulating and exciting environment where free play and well planned structured activities are offered to all children. By using the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum we provide a good base for our children’s future development.

Details of costs for all ages:-

2 days = £104.00 per week / £450.67 per calendar month
3 days = £156.00 per week / £676.00 per calendar month
4 days = £208.00 per week / £901.34 per calendar month

Parents are welcome and valued at all times. We always work in partnership and offer support when needed.

We provide care for children of working/studying parents. We provide high quality care and education for all the children attending our nursery. We use (EYFS) Early Years Foundation Stage to set the standards for learning and development within our nursery.
