Open access adventure playground with a cabin for indoor activities.

Open access adventure playground with a cabin for indoor activities.

Activities include sandpit, gardening, camp building, making bonfires, trips, mosaic making, parties, barbecues, camping, games and sports. Indoor & outdoor sports, arts & crafts, fire-play, trips off-site, cooking, den-building, swings & large outdoor play areas (one dedicated to under 5s), free play & organized games.

Holiday time: Monday to Friday 11-5.30pm

Members: free during term time/50p a day during holidays

Non-members: £1.50p a day during holidays (easy to become a member on the first visit though!)

Closed: Easter Bank Holiday Weekend, all Bank Holiday Monday’s, first week in September and over Christmas and New Year

Eligibility: Fill in a registration form and bring to the playground with 2 passport size photographs to become a member

Under 8s must be supervised at all times by an adult.

Weavers provides an inclusive, open access and fully supervised adventurous play environment for all young people under 16, in Tower Hamlets five days a week, after school and during holidays.

There is a large outside play area with wooden ramps, walkway, and swings, an astro-turf multi sports area and large grass area.

Inside play area: Arts and crafts sessions: paints, colouring pencils/pens and paper are out all the time. During the holidays we run sessions including working with clay, embroidery, making puppets, glass painting and cooking. We also have table tennis, fusbal and a pool table.

Sessions in Multi Sports Pitch: Football matches and training, Tennis Dodge Ball, Frisbee games, Cricket, Rounders, Short tennis, Bull Dog and any other ball games.
