Ragged School Museum
Housed in what was once London’s biggest ragged school, this family-friendly museum welcomes people of all ages to taste a slice of Victorian life. Through hands-on exhibits and talks, it gives a taste of life for the poor of the East End a century ago.
The museum is open the first Sunday of each month.
The museum/heritage site offers school visits and free family activities during school holidays. Activities are hands-on, creative and based around learning about the Victoria era. Activities vary from holiday to holiday, but always with a focus on family learning, arts and craft, and play.
