Sensory Circus is specifically designed to help Young People on the Autistic Spectrum develop their confidence, co-ordination and communication skills. Participants will have the opportunity to explore a range of circus activities including aerial, balances, and manipulation in a safe and supportive environment. The programme has been developed in collaboration with young people with autism and health professionals working with children and young people with disabilities and special educational needs. Sensory Circus can also serve as a pathway to the other course on our youth programme, as all of our staff tailor their teaching to each child's individual needs.
The Junior Sensory Circus is suitable for ages 8 - 11 years and the sessions run weekly for 6 weeks, and participants must book for the full 6 week course, rather than drop in.
