Launch of the Family Information Hub

On Tuesday 19 May 2026, more than 250 professionals and families from across Tower Hamlets gathered to celebrate the launch of the new Family Information Hub. The event marked an important milestone in improving how residents access support and information across the borough.

The launch was the result of months of collaboration between council teams, digital specialists, and community partners. From early planning and content development through to delivery of the event itself, the project reflects a shared commitment to making support services easier to find and use for families.

Held at the Town Hall, the event brought together over 35 partner organisations in one space. Attendees had the opportunity to explore the new platform and connect directly with services. BeebotAI, the organisation behind the digital platform, delivered demonstrations of the website and answered questions from guests throughout the day.

The Family Information Hub brings together hundreds of services and activities that were previously spread across multiple websites, including Family Hubs and the SEND Local Offer. By centralising this information, the new hub makes it simpler for families to find the support they need.

The website has been designed with accessibility and ease of use in mind. Features include translation tools to support the borough’s diverse communities, a mobile friendly design with speech to search functionality, and improved search options to help users quickly find relevant services.

The event opened with remarks from Mohammed Jolil, Head of Early Help and Children and Families Services, who welcomed attendees and shared the vision behind the hub.

A series of speeches followed from key leaders, including Mohammed Maium Miah Talukder, former Deputy Mayor, Steve Reddy, Corporate Director of Children’s Services, Susannah Beasley-Murray, Director of Children’s Social Care, Dr Tina Sode, Head of Special Educational Needs, Sumaiyah Rahman, Public Health Officer, and Jenny Miller, Family Information Advice Support Manager.

Looking ahead, the Family Information Hub will continue to develop and grow. Future plans include introducing personalised features, enhancing digital tools, and expanding the use of chatbot technology. Ongoing feedback from families, professionals, and partners will play a key role in shaping the platform’s evolution.

With strong attendance, positive feedback, and a high level of engagement throughout the event, the Family Information Hub is already being recognised as a valuable resource for Tower Hamlets residents.
