St Hilda's East Women's Project

Description

Service Description

We have relaunched St Hilda's Women's Project as a Creative Women's Cooperative with the ambition to encourage local community members to delve into their creativity and access support to make products that could potentially lead to a business idea/opportunity. Every Tuesday between 12-2pm we meet up and run workshops that involve a range of activities from arts and crafts, hand embroidery and machine sewing through to enterprise training. Alongside this we have a complimentary crèche for those who require child care as well as Yoga every Thursday at midday.

Overall, it has been created by women for women to provide them with the guidance, resources and experience to grow in confidence and achieve personal empowerment. Therefore, it is open to everyone, whether they are interested in upskilling or just meeting other likeminded people in the area. To join or find out more come along to one of our sessions or email [email protected].
