ASEND is a unique SEND company that provides expert educational and consultation services that enable children and young people to fulfil their potential and become productive, well-balanced adults. Our company is run by SEND experts, not recruiters or agents who support families providing provisions such as highly personalised either at home, in the school or in the community.

We can support section F of the Education, Health and Care Plan through providing Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, Educational Psychologists and Positive Behaviour Support as well as other services. ASEND also offers free advice and signposting to parents through its Family Service to help them find the best way forward regarding their child's education and wellbeing.

Activities and sessions provide?

1. Highly personalised home tuition service for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. They're referred by the Local Authorities, school and self-referring families.
2. School - based support to ensure that shcool placements dont break down including transitions into and out of school.
3. Delivery of therapies including Speech and Language, Occupational Therapy, Educational Psychology, Clinical psychology and Positive Behaviour Support.
4. Access arrangements and testing in schools and homes.
5. Provision of specialist staff to shcools including SENCO's, Teaching Assistants, Mentors, Dyslexia Specislists, SEND teachers and Inclusion Leads.
6. Supportive audits for schools and Local Authorities that intend to improve their SEND practice.
7. We provide specialist training to support schools to improve their SEND practive.
8. Managing and supporting EOTAS packages.
9. Provision of SEND expert witnesses for independent review panels.
10. Family Service offering a free 45 minute consultation call to parent and carers offering them advice, guidance and signposting.
11. Working in collaboration with Open Awards, we can offer a range of Functional skills examinations from Entry Level 1 to Level 2 (GCSE equivalent)

Support for families?

- Providing parents with a free 45 minute consultation call giving them advice and signposting.

- Family funded tuition. This can take place at the family's home, in a community-based setting or at shcool if the child is on a part time shcool timetable.

- Signposting to shcool or Local Authority funded tuition. Helping parents to identify sources of funding for their child with an EHCP that supports their education and social developement.

- Supporting children with Life skills and Preparation for Adulthood to enable them to live with greater independence and confidence whether this is in the family home or whether they're ready to take their first steps into adult accommodation.

- Providing family-funded educational consultancy with Educational Psychology assessments, Speech and Language assessments and therapy, Occupational therapy and assessments and other therapies such as music and play therapy.

- Planning and supporting families with EOTAS packages and then providing the services on the package(should the families wish us to).

- As part of tuition, our tutors can take our young people into the community to help develop their confidencce and also to give parents a well-deservd rest for a couple of hours.
