New City College is London’s second largest college, created by the merger of Hackney Community College with Tower Hamlets College in summer 2016 and then with Redbridge College in spring 2017. Epping Forest College merged with New City College on 1st of August 2018.
We have campuses in each area ensuring that our shared communities continue to have access to the largest choice of courses and training that will best prepare them for accessing the increasing career opportunities in this fast developing part of London and Essex.
# Our Tower Hamlets Campus
We offer all our students a welcoming and inspiring learning environment and we want you to enjoy your time studying with us. Last year, 85% of our students progressed to university and we have strong relationships with leading businesses in London and help many of our students to secure apprenticeship positions in top firms like KPMG, Accenture and Goldman Sachs.
# Our Courses
You can study a wide range of courses for young people and adults including A Levels, BTEC qualifications; and other courses including professional ones for career progression. All our courses are tailored to ensure you gain the skills needed for further study or employment.
# Our Campus Facilities
You will benefit from classrooms with the latest technology and a fully stocked learning resource centre. We are also the only college in the UK to have a Subway outlet on campus, so along with our Costa lounge, you will have plenty of opportunities to refuel and relax between studies.
# Sports Academies
You will have many opportunities to enjoy your favourite sports as well as study for a sports related qualification with us. We have four academies dedicated to sports with our partners West Ham United Foundation, The London Lions Basketball Club, Legends Boxing Gym along with our own Women's Sports Academy. If you love sports this is the place to be.
# Learning Zone
The Learning Zone provides drop-in support to students across the college’s entire provision.
# Supporting You
We want you to do well in your studies. We can provide a range of extra support for students who may need it, ranging from help with their studies, counselling, business and careers advice.
