The practice respects the right of patients to express a preference with regard to which health professional they see however this may not always be possible, especially in respect of urgent appointments.
Practice nurses
In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with a practice nurse rather than a doctor. Practice nurses are qualified to deal with many ailments and you may be seen more quickly.
Cancellations
If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else. You can use our texting service to cancel using your mobile phone. When you receive your text reminder simply text back “CANCEL” and we will do the rest. If you fail to attend your appointment without letting us know you will run the risk of being removed from the practice.
