I have worked with children with different types of additional needs, including physical disabilities, learning delay, autism and sensory processing disorder. I encourage children to communicate and enjoy social time with their peers. I can use PECS (picture exchange) Makaton, and support learning by using a workstation. I work in partnership with parents, carers and any other professionals involved in the child’s life. I can support you if your child is going through the diagnostic process for social/communication challenges.

I provide childcare in my own home for parents while they work, or attend education, or for respite. I will ensure your child is happy, safe and well cared for. I will share evidence of this with a daily diary that goes home with your child each day and you can also record notes so that we have a seamless home/childcare relationship that best supports your child’s needs. I can send you snapshots of your child’s day by texting you a photo of your child’s successes. I make educational observations and assessments and will share regular progress reports and evidence with you of your child’s experiences and activities. Children learn best through play, and I have many valuable play resources to support your child’s development—and their fun!

In addition to this I can provide a service for the free 15 hours childcare for eligible 2 year olds and up to 30 hours for eligible 3 and 4 year olds. I will also accept childcare vouchers and tax free childcare payments.

Half Day sessions run 08:00 - 13:00 OR 13:00 - 18:00
Full Day runs 08:00 - 18:00 = £10 per hour for a 10 hour day = £500 per week
