The Behaviour and Attendance Support Services provides a range of support to schools in order to support their capacity to ensure good attendance and positive behaviour for learning for all pupils, including those with SEND.

We aim to promote best practice in order for schools to be able to be fully inclusive.

The support offered can be whole school, cohort or individual and the team will work with schools to address their specific needs.

Behaviour Support:Training for staff, whole school policy and practice review, assessment for individuals and cohorts, exclusion analysis and action planning, advice and support for complex cases of challenging behaviour.
Attendance: The service aims to improve school attendance, reduce truancy and to ensure that children fully benefit from education that is provided in Tower Hamlets.

The Attendance Welfare advisors can offer a range of support from oversight and support for attendance systems, working with complex cases with poor attendance and advice and support to staff if they need to consider legal action for non-attendance
