The Advisory Teacher for ICT/SEN and Inclusion role has three principal tasks. Advice and assessment on the use of technology to improve curriculum access for individuals and groups of children and young people with special educational needs. This covers any area of learning need in any phase of school. There is no formal referral process.
Training in and out of school to support the use of technology to develop inclusive practices.Specific projects to support curriculum development, such diverse areas as using animation to support speech and language skills, or teaching Computer Science to Key Stage 3 students with SEND.
We will also support school development planning, and advise on procurement to support pupil learning needs.
