DeafPLUS is a national charity supporting Deaf and Hard of Hearing people to break through barriers.

We aim to improve awareness of deaf and visually impaired people's needs. We make sure that social and economic barriers are dismantled. We provide information, advocacy and advice that enables them to fully participate in society.

Additionally, we provide events and health related workshops to make Deaf and Hard of Hearing people feel fully included.

DeafPLUS offer various events and workshops to the community (such as cooking, sewing, excercise, yoga) and we also provide health-related talks to cover relevant topics, for example; looking after money, dementia awareness. In summary, we provide events and workshops around our clients' needs.

DeafPLUS provide a variety of events suitable for families, especially during school holidays. In the past we have done bowling, paddle boat trips, walking tours, cinema trips and many more. DeafPLUS can keep you informed by sending out regular emails and texts when you register with us.
