Service Description

The Employment Advisors work with families who meet the Supporting Stronger Families Agenda. They will offer employment and training support to individuals who are not currently in employment, who are part of a family where 1 of the following may apply:

-Have a child with poor school attendance,
-Have a family member in the criminal justice system or live with a young person with a YOT order,
-Experienced domestic violence,
-Have a health concerns or live with a family member that does
-Be involved with Children Social Services

•Liaising with Employment Advisers at the Jobcentreplus and Integrated Employment Service who regularly engage with local employers.

•Be able to provide up to date employment opportunities.

•Help establish volunteer and work experience opportunities.

•Support customers where there are barriers to employment.

•Give practical support such as CV writing, interview skills and guidance, confidence building and complete better of work calculations.

•Meet at a suitable location which suits the individual such as home, one stop shop or offices, work with more than family member,
