Service Description

We provide a range of support for babies, children and young people diagnosed with a hearing loss, including those with additional and complex needs. We are a team of specialist teachers of the deaf. There are also other professionals who work with us, for example, bilingual instructors and a deaf instructor. We provide support for pre-school as well as school aged children and young people.

'Ready, Steady, Go' parent support group for parents of pre-school deaf and partially hearing children and British Sign Language classes, ranging from the Family Sign curriculum up to, and including, BSL Level 2 are services /sessions that are provided for parents and families.

Services to parents are free. There is a charge to schools for some of our services. Schools can also purchase additional services.
