Blue Skies Project
Description
Service Description
Blue Skies is a service that provides support to a diverse range of adults with a learning disability and / or associated mental health needs.
We currently have 4 schemes based in a 3 separate locations within the borough of Tower Hamlets.
Each scheme offers various levels of support tailored to each individual’s agreed support needs.
These can range from on to-one support to those that need a minimum amount of input to maintain their independence.
The buildings we use are all wheelchair accessible, have very good transport links and range from a church hall in Bow Common, to a community café in the vibrant area of Spitalfield. All of the Blue Skies’ service currently operates Monday to Friday 9am-4pm all year around, excluding Bank Holidays
In recent years, Vibrance have worked in partnership with Paradigm (one of the UK’s leading organisations in the field of disability) to look at the way we find out & record what the people who use our service really want. An outcome of this piece of work was the “Individual Service Design” (I.S.D) which records information in a variety of ways including multimedia formats.
