The house is a time capsule- opens to the public. Its creator, Dennis Severs, was an artist who used his visitor’s imagination as his canvas, and who lived in the house in much the same way as its original occupants might have done in the early 18th century. As you journey off in a silent search through the house’s ten rooms, each lit fire and candlelight, sounds, smells and visuals take you back in time.
