Family Action Tower Hamlets


Service Description

Building Bridges Service - Works with parents/carers with enduring mental health difficulties including bi-polar affective disorder, schizophrenia, post traumatic stress disorder, depression related illnesses who have responsibility in relation to the well being of children. We provide a preventive service which will maintain the care of children in their own families and give emotional support promoting positive attachments between family members.

Carers Connect Service - Is a non stigmatising support service for the Carers of invidivudlal with enduring mental health problems living in Tower Hamlets.

Family Behavioural Support Service – A key aim of the service is to provide an early intervention to families with young people presenting severe behavioural difficulties putting them at risk of exclusion from either primary or secondary school.
