Tower Hamlets has many diverse parks, gardens and open spaces for residents and visitors to enjoy. Play areas for children, leisure and recreational facilities, nature reserves, walking trials and live events are just a few of the things that can be enjoyed in the borough’s parks and open spaces.

The Council provides a Park Ranger Service and is responsible for the maintenance of wide variety of parks and green spaces in the area.

Tower Hamlets has won many awards for its floral delights and the quality and management of its parks and open spaces, including the Green Flag Award. Winning a Green Flag Award is a sign of prestige and excellence and currently six parks and open spaces in the borough have received this award.
