Additional Information
As part of the commissioning process for each exhibition, a programme of events is devised in collaboration with the artist, including talks at the gallery and online, screenings, performances, and offsite events within the local community. When Covid-19 restrictions are eased the Gallery aims to resume in-person events, including early morning viewings of exhibitions and family workshops.
Chisenhale Gallery is situated just off Roman Road, close to both Victoria Park and Mile End Park.
It is step-free and suitable for wheelchair access. We have an accessible, universal toilet. The narrowest access point on our ground floor is a width of 90cm. Visitors should be aware that there is a slope upon the entrance to the gallery. We are committed to making Chisenhale Gallery as welcoming and comfortable as possible for all our visitors. If you have access needs, please contact [email protected]
Chisenhale Gallery is a not-for-profit registered charity and one of Arts Council England's National Portfolio Organisations.
