Service Description

The Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) team offers advice, information and training to teachers, teaching assistants and parents to support the inclusion and teaching of pupils with literacy difficulties (SpLD), including those with Dyslexia.

Parents/carers concerned about their child’s literacy should in the first instance get in touch with their school or early years setting.

Referrals from schools are made using the Common Assessment Framework EHA and our referral form.

Some of our services are free to schools and some services may bought by schols.

We sometimes run sessions at the Parents Advice Centre for parents support groups concerned about Dyslexia or run sessions for parents through schools.
