The school is maintained by the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. We have an intake of 630 children from Reception to Year 6 plus 90 Nursery places.

Most pupils are drawn from the local Bangladeshi community. Others include Afro-Caribbean, English, Somalian, Vietnamese, Pakistani and Turkish. The children are admitted from four to eleven years of age.

The extra-curricular activities offered vary from year to year. They are designed to reinforce learning and offer opportunities to practice new skills, as well as broaden the children's experiences and be great fun.
