In my setting I offer a loving, fun, safe environment for children to learn and grow. I am very flexible which helps parents to work the hours they need. I provide a wide range of activities and take the children outside every day in different places i.e Children Centres, Parks, Library’s, Farms etc. I am a quality assured childminder and able to give 15 hours free education to 2,3 and 4 year old children. I read books, do singing, dancing and playing games and lots of arts and crafts.

In my settings I always plan activities and make sure that no children are left out. Support each child individually and give extra support to those who need it. My facilities are wheelchair accessible and I also ensure that the environment is clean and safe where children can barely move. I do observations, planning activities, provide indoor and outdoor activities, help children to grow independently and personal self-ease. I am an accredited childminder who carries out risk assessments with the children to ensure that they are safe at all times.

I arrange meetings each term with families and parents to discuss their children’s/child progress, sharing ideas on how they can help their child at home. We will be working together in partnership to ensure that their children/child is learning to the best of their ability.
