Westfield Nursery at Queen Mary University of London
Day nurseries provide childcare and learning for children from birth to 5 years. They can be run by private businesses, voluntary groups or by the local authority. All day nurseries on the Family Services Directory are registered with Ofsted. Hours vary and usually part time and full time places are available.
Westfield Nursery is a 65 place nursery that was set up in 1992 for staff and students of Queen Mary University. In 2002 the nursery moved to a larger purpose built building and now also accepts applications from the local community.
The nursery has two baby rooms of nine children each, two toddler rooms of 12 children, and a pre-school room for up to 23 three to five year olds.
The nursery is open from 8.30am to 5.30pm for 48 weeks a year, closing for a week at Christmas, Easter and two in the summer. We offer full day care with a minimum of two days attendance.
