A fun and interactive performance workshop for families to enjoy together, based around traditional Caribbean folk songs and social dances.
Join students from the BIMM Music Institute and friends for a celebration of Caribbean sounds and Carnival culture in an exciting immersive workshop of singing, dancing and stories from across the world. Learn new songs, join the conga, and discover the stories behind the rhythms, words and movements of calypso, reggae and traditional folk song from Jamaica, Cuba and Guyana, to Trinidad & Tobago. Great fun and brilliant edutainment for children and the young at heart!

Build confidence, listening skills and coordination through movement games and collective play.

Suitable for for all ages, from 1-100! But particularly children and young people, age 3-11 years of age. Designed for families to enjoy together (All adults to be accompanied by a child).

No experience necessary! Bring a shaker or your favourite percussive toy!

Come prepared wearing comfortable clothes and shoes.
