15 June is an afternoon to remember Douglas Whittaker, aka BIM.

BIM Fest is a concert celebrating the life of Victoria Park’s local maverick Douglas Whittaker, aka BIM. As a renegade live music promoter, Douglas championed musicians in the community and remained a loyal enthusiast of Victoria Park Bandstand events. BIM Fest brings together artists who he supported and who were also his fans, including: electro-punk/ukulele comedy duo Music in Our Underpants; the folk fusion of Fruszi + Lola; conscious New Wave from JUHA… with more acts to be announced soon.

If you are performer who wants to join in, there will be an open mic segment so do contact us to introduce yourself!
