Our non-profit is running a poetry competition for 13-19 year olds based in the UK. We’re prizing 10 lucky budding poets an Amazon tablet device, which has been kindly funded by the good folks at Arnold Clark Community Fund.

Why are we running this competition?

#iWrite is our annual creative writing competition initiative for young people. Our first competition in 2020 was well received by our 100+ participants, with most stating that it had a positive impact on their mental health, creativity and passion for writing!

This year, we decided to go with poetry, as many of last year's submission entries happened to be some really incredible short poems.

Our entry requirements for this years competition are as follows:

Our new competition is open to 13 - 19 year olds based in the U.K.
50 to 100 words max, and the themes are:
• a better future
• empowerment
• Positivity
• hope
• unity
• climate change
• inspiration
