Once again the Annual Covent Garden May Fayre & Puppet Festival cannot take place as a live event due to the current coronavirus pandemic restrictions and so we are celebrating online.

Punch & Judy Professors from across the country normally gather to perform in the garden of St Paul’s Church in Covent Garden on the second Sunday in May. This highly enjoyable historic occasion is always so popular that there will be a SPECIAL ONLINE FESTIVAL on SUNDAY 9 MAY. The very day on which Samuel Pepys made the first recorded sighting of Mr Punch in Covent Garden in his famous Diary in 1662.

The Punch & Judy Fellowship and the Punch & Judy Club have created Special Online Festival Celebrations with shows, stories, exhibitions and interviews which may be viewed on Sunday 9 May from 10am
