Expert Parents Programme - Workshop two

Details

Description

The Expert Parent Programme was originally funded by the Department of Health. It was designed to help parents and carers of deaf and disabled children and young people. Parents learned how to navigate health and other systems, and better understand how they might work to improve outcomes for their children.

Since then, the programme has been adapted on behalf of the National Deaf Children’s Society. It focuses on services that support deaf children, including health, education and social care.

The programme is now available online. You’ll come together with other parents over three short online sessions. By the end, we hope that you will feel much more confident about how to get the best support and outcomes for your child.
