Victim of Domestic Abuse

The Sanctuary Project aims to prevent homelessness by allowing the victim of domestic abuse to remain safely within the home.

The victim of domestic abuse must be a resident ot Tower Hamlets -

The victim must be a sole tenant (if it is in joint tenancy, the victim must get an occupation order or remove the perpetrator’s name from the tenancy).
The incidents must be reported ie to the police,
Tower Hamlets Council, Victim Support Tower
Hamlets, Health professionals etc.
The victim must want to remain in the property and
want security installed.
The victim must have a valid legal order in place
against the perpetrator especially if the risks are high
(if not then the reason stated why).
