A new programme has recently launched in collaboration with The Royal Institute of British Architects and Here East - The People's Pavilion.
The People's Pavilion offers young East Londoners the opportunity to gain new skills in the design, architecture, engineering and creative industries, whilst entering a design competition which will see the winning pavilion design built at Here East in the Olympic Park.
The pavilion will also host a two-week festival programmed by young East Londoners, so we are currently looking for young people interested in event curation, or festival programming, we have teamed up the V&A, the BBC and others to offer a fantastic array of opportunities.
We are delivering weekend workshops in each East London borough to help young people develop their design ideas. They do not need to have any previous experience.
- Young people have to be 14 - 19 years of age
- Living in the East London
- Do not need to have any previous experience
Attached is the project programme with further information, with live links so young people can book to attend the various workshops and register their intrest if they wish to get involved.
