The London Borough of Tower Hamlets (LBTH) and the Tower Hamlets Clinical Commissioning Group (THCCG) oversee all arrangements for children and young people with SEND. We recently organised a number of workshops which parents and carers were invited to.
We tried a different approach: explaining how things work and some of our difficulties and then sitting down at tables with parents and carers to hear about their difficulties. We then worked together to see what solutions we could come up with.
Over 160 parents took part. If you want to know more about the solutions and what the Council has done, read: Feedback_parents.pdf
