Service Description

The Inclusion Service aims to help children with disabilities to access mainstream services within the community. Our main aims are to build friendship groups, develop confidence, promote independence and ensure our children get to have fun. After receiving the referral, the inclusion officer will arrange to meet the family and build a one page profile of the young person. This will then be passed on to service providers to ensure the young person is supported appropriately. The family will regularly be updated on the young person’s progress which will be reviewed every 6 months with support plans put into place. The inclusion officer will also work closely with service providers making sure that staffs are adequately trained to support our children the best way possible. There is a variety of different activities available for children and young people to enjoy through the Inclusion Service.

We are the borough’s arts providers and have been based at the Brady Centre since 1999.

Bands 1 – 17:00-19:00
Bands 2 for existing bands who need somewhere to rehearse and need some technical assistance.
17:00-20:00 – fashion and textiles

18:30 – 21:00 – Drama – each year we work towards a theatre production or film. Please contact us for details Rap music production.

Saturdays – 15:00-17:00
Music Academy for instrumentalists who want to learn to play room music and join a band.
Music sessions are delivered by CM (Community Music)
