Service Description

NEWTEC is a specialist organisation offering vocational training opportunities and high quality registered day care nursery facilities. The learning programmes are highly responsive to learner and employer needs offering excellent progression routes ranging from entry level to Level 5 Foundation Degree in Early Years and Early Years Leadership and Management.

NEWTEC offers vocational courses in Early Years and Childcare and / or Health and Social Care work based training programmes.

These programmes offer work experience opportunities for learners at levels 2 and 3. NEWTEC is also able to offer work experience within our five settings based in Newham (three x nurseries and two early years education settings) as well as external nurseries.

On achieving their qualification, learners are then signed up to NEWTEC’s Recruitment Agency who provide both childcare and health and social care workers to provisions that may be understaffed. Within this team learners are supported with CV writing and interview skills to ensure they are work ready.

NEWTEC also offers a Children’s Centre that provides a wide range of learning and development activities for children and their families.
