Service Description

Parenting programmes actively support parents and carers to build upon their existing parenting skills and build positive relationships with their children.

Speakeasy is a 4 week parenting programme suitable for parents and carers of children and young people of all ages.

Speakeasy supports parents to:
• Understand the physical and emotional changes taking place at puberty
• Explore the influence on children and young people from TV, media and peers
• Learn how Sex and Relationships Education (SRE) is taught in schools
• Gain information and knowledge about local support for families

This parenting programme is delivered within schools, children’s centres, community venues and other settings in Tower Hamlets.
