Our Time is an all ability youth forum run for and by young people between the ages of 14-25 with special educational needs and disabilities. We welcome young people of all abilities.
Our Time was established in 2017 to make sure:
• Young people’s voices and their views are heard
• Young people gain new experience and skills
• Young people are able to make new friends and build their confidence
• Young people understand their rights in regards to special educational needs and disabilities
• Young people campaign for positive change

Our Time usually meets around 4 times a month, check the events section or our social media for more details.

Our Time achievements:
• We have made films to raise awareness about Education Healthcare Plans and the local offer
• We have done a peer research project to find out how services can be improved in Tower Hamlets
• We made a films to raise awareness on issues like bullying and mental health with Headliners
• We have gained qualifications in journalism and have won the Jack Petchy Award
• We have worked with Step forward and the Children’s society to help make services accessible for people with additional needs
• We have helped with the council’s transformation of mental health services
• We have worked with the children with disabilities team and SEN team
• Helped to choose a new head of education
