Service Description

The aim of inclusion is to support children and young people with Autism and Complex needs to access a mainstream activity within the community. This is achieved by finding out the child’s interests and matching them with suitable activities within universal services.

Additional Information

The Inclusion Service supports children and young people to access a range of fun and positive activities at universal settings such as youth services, after school clubs and children's centres. The youth clubs and after school clubs include football coaching, drama club, dance club and a range of activities such as pool, video games and table tennis. The Inclusion Worker also offers relevant support and training to mainstream youth clubs and after school clubs to help them fully support children and young people with autism or complex needs.
