Description

Service Description

CDT is a team of professionals who assess a child when there is a concern over two or more areas of their development, for example, speech and physical skills.

The CDT aims to support parents / carers understanding of their child’s development and provide the parents / carers with information to enable them to help plan their support.

CDT also complete reviews at a time that is appropriate for the child’s individual needs. This enables the CDT to check on how the child is doing. Together with parents / carers a discussion is undertaken to ensure that the child’s care plan is helping the family and the child, or if it needs to be changed.
