Service Description

CAMHS provides a therapeutic service for children and young people who have experiences emotional and mental health problems. The service seeks to include the parents/carers and where appropriate the wider support network. CAMHS seek to develop resilience and emotional strength in young people.

Clinical staff includes psychologists, family therapists, nurses, psychiatrists, social workers, psychotherapists all of whom are supported by bi-lingual co-workers and the administrative team.

The service works in close partnership with other agencies providing services to children and young people in the borough e.g. Children’s Social Care, Schools and Docklands Outreach.
