YouTube Vlogging Training Workshop for 16-25yr olds powered by The Jack Petchey Foundation and Media Trust

Details

Description

The Vlogstar Challenge empowers young people with the skills they need to create video content on important social issues. Video blogging is an easy, accessible way to get young people to engage and communicate with a broader audience. You will learn how to structure a story and present with confidence on camera.

Now in its fourth year, Vlogstar Challenge gives 16-25 year olds across London and Essex the relevant technical and creative skills they need in a modern communications age.

Harness your creativity and learn the technical and communications skills you need to create content, develop your voice and share your passions with new audiences. You will learn how to shoot and edit compelling video content on your smartphone. You’ll also learn how to create and grow your own YouTube channel and reveal the secrets to get your content discovered by a larger audience.

Everyone that takes part is encouraged to submit their best vlog into the Vlogstar Challenge competition. 150 semifinalists are invited along to YouTube HQ in London King’s Cross for an inspiration day. You could be in with a chance to win £2,000 for their school or youth organisation, £500 worth of production equipment and 1-2-1 mentoring with YouTube experts.
